Patents ASSIST Subscriber Notice
2002 June Issue
We are pleased to inform you of a new feature that has
been added to the 8th edition of the Manual of Patent Examining Procedure (MPEP) on the 2002
June issue of Patents ASSIST. Internal links have been activated
to enable users to jump to references throughout the document. These references
include sections of 35 U.S.C. and 37 C.F.R., which are included in the MPEP
Appendices, as well as specific MPEP sections cited in the manual.
Double-clicking
on the link will jump you to that section in the MPEP or to the specific section
in 35 U.S.C. or 37 C.F.R. To return to your previous location, use the "Previous
Link" 
icon on the toolbar or select the Previous Link
option from the View Menu.
The Electronic Products Branch will continue to enhance the Cassis2 products to
make them more efficient search tools for our subscribers. Please keep us
informed of your suggestions and ideas for other improvements.
