The USPTO is pleased to announce that contract number DOC50PAPT0501011 resulting from RFP number DOC52PAPT0501011 was awarded on August 30, 2005 to Preferred Systems Solutions, 3040 Williams Drive, Suite 505, Fairfax, VA 22031.

PREVIOUS INFORMATION:

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) seeks to award a Firm Fixed Price, Performance Based Services Contract to provide the necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, and services to support the operation of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Contact Center (UCC). The UCC is the front-line customer service center for the USPTO and responds to public inquiries seeking information on a variety of USPTO programs and services. The contractor-provided Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and Customer Service Supervisors shall be located onsite in Government-furnished facilities at the USPTO headquarters, in Alexandria, VA. The period of performance for this requirement is anticipated to be for a base period of one year and four additional one-year option periods. In addition, the successful Offeror has an opportunity to earn up to three additional award-term years depending on contract performance.

This requirement is anticipated to be a 100% 8(a), competitive procurement.

Proposals are due no later than 2:00 p.m. EST, Friday, June 3, 2005.
