I agree that the Register needs to be more accurate and "cleaned up". However, I believe a better way to accomplish this would be to also require the Section 9 affidavit to be filed between the sixth and eighth years after registration as well. That way, marks that are no longer used either early after registration or after the initial period will be removed from the register.
