United States Patent and Trademark Office's Educational Outreach Program for Graphic Designers
The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is looking to partner with colleges and universities that offer programs in graphic design, in order to present informational lectures on trademarks and copyrights. Graphic designers will learn the fundamentals of both trademarks and copyrights and the potential pitfalls of infringement. The program highlights how success as a graphic designer has as much to do with legal and ethical considerations as it does about being creative.
A USPTO attorney will make the presentation in a location that the sponsoring organization designates and promotes. If you would like the USPTO to speak or to request more information about the outreach program, please contact Mr. Craig Morris, Managing Attorney for Educational Outreach, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 571-272-9692.
