Download ABXPDF Writer

ABXPDF Writer can be used to generate the PDF files for the application-body authored by the user.

Please uninstall any previous version of ABXPDF Write before downloading and installing. Follow the following steps:

• From the Start menu select Settings/Control Panel
• From Control Panel select Add/Remove Programs
• Select ABXPDF Writer from the list and select the Change/Remove option

DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1 – Download ABXPDF Writer

• Click on “ Download ABXPDF Write r” link and a new window will open
• Select “ Save ” and a new window will open. Put the path to the place of your choice other than C:\Program Files\USPTO.
• Select “ Save ”
• A window will launch when the documents are being downloaded. Once download is complete, select “ Open ” to continue on to Step 2. Unzipping the ABXPDF Writer must occur prior to installation.

Step 2 – Unzipping the ABXPDF Writer

• A new window will launch to extract the zip file.
• Select " Browse " to select a location to unzip.
  Please DO NOT unzip in "C:\Program Files\USPTO" . It will cause an installation error.
  Select " Ok " after selecting a location.
• Select “ Unzip ” and the files will be unzipped and the folder, ABXPDF Writer will be created in your selected location.
• Once the unzip process is complete, select “ OK ”
• From the WinZip self-extractor window, select “ Close ”

Step 3 – Installing ABXPDF Writer

• Left click on “ Start ” and a menu will open,
  select “ Run ”.
  Insert the path to the " \ABXPDF Writer\Setup.exe ".
  Select " Ok ".

• Go to the folder " ABXPDF Writer " in Windows Explorer and double click on " Setup.exe ".

• A new window will be launched, select “ Yes ”
• On the License Agreement screen select “ Yes ”. Note that there is no License Agreement required for ABXPDF Writer.
• A new window will open requesting the destination, leave the default as the destination, “ C:\Program Files\USPTO\ABXPDF Writer ”, and select “ Ok ”
• Once installation has completed select “ Ok ”
• The README.Txt file will open, after reading this document please close it.

Installation is complete. Restart the computer before using the ABXPDF Writer .

IMPORTANT: When you save the abxpdfwriter.exe file to your computer make a note of the folder location or file path so you can locate it and run it after you finish downloading the exe file.
