Announcements - e-Office Action Pilot Program Expansion
e-Office Action Pilot Program Expansion
On October 12, 2007, USPTOÂ’s PAIR e-Office Action Pilot Program will expand to include additional USPTO offices. When the pilot launched in December 2006, participants only received electronic Office notifications from examiners in the Group Art Units. With the expansion of the pilot, participants will now receive e-Office Action notifications instead of paper mailings from additional USPTO offices listed below:
- Office of Initial Patent Examination
- Office of Petitions
- Office of Publications
- Office of License and Review
- Board of Appeals
The e-Office Action Pilot Program is an opportunity to evaluate and comment on the usability and functionality of the program. In lieu of receiving new outgoing correspondence related to a patent application in paper via postal mail, this program sends pilot participants an e-mail notification to access outgoing documents in Private PAIR.
If you would like to provide feedback on the e-Office Action Pilot Program or if you would like to participate in the pilot and need additional information, please send an e-mail to PAIR@uspto.gov .
