U.S. Government Official To Speak to Ohio Schoolchildren About Illegal Downloading and Copying

Kids to Learn the Value of Respecting Others' Intellectual Property

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property Stephen Pinkos will talk to third graders at New Albany Elementary School in New Albany, Ohio, about respecting the music, art and ideas created by others. In his remarks, Pinkos will remind students that downloading and copying music, movies, and video games without the permission of the artist or copyright holder is illegal.
