INDEPENDENT INVENTORS EXHIBIT AT DISNEY WORLD

Sixty independent inventors from around the country are exhibiting their newly patented inventions at the 25 ^th Annual National Inventors' Expo at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center March 12-15.

The Expo, sponsored by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and Intellectual Property Owners, features selected displays of inventions which were patented in the last year. "These inventions are remarkable examples of America's only inexhaustible resource-intellectual property," said Bruce A. Lehman, Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Commissioner of Patents and Trademarks. "I am always amazed and intrigued by the innovative solutions to both the simple and complex problems that these men and women have created," he continued.

Some of the inventions being exhibited include "Super Foil," a biodegradable aluminum foil; "Shadow Race," an electronic device that attaches to home exercise equipment and then works like a video game; and SWAP®, a process and device for detecting and recovering floating petroleum spills from a subsurface water supply.
