USPTO Commissioner Bruce Lehman Among the Washington 100
ARLINGTON, VA -- The National Journal has named Bruce Lehman, assistant secretary of commerce and commissioner of patents and trademarks, one of the 100 most influential men and women in Washington, D.C. In selecting Lehman, the publication noted that, "In today's Information Age, the issue of intellectual property rights is no longer an arcane concern, but a vital part of U.S. trade policy. Since taking over his current posts in 1993, Lehman has been the Clinton administration's outspoken voice on such matters here and abroad."
Others on the list include the president, first lady, vice president, some 30 members of Congress and two Supreme Court justices.
