Independent Inventors Online Chat Instructions for Meeting Attendees


This on-line dialogue conference room will hold a maximum of 500 participants.

  1. The identity of questioners can be anonymous, if desired.
  2. No profanity, vulgar or disrespectful language.
  3. Do not include an application serial number.
  4. No questions involving matters in litigation.
  5. No questions that might violate the privacy of other individuals.
  6. Recognize that any information that you disclose about your invention or application is public.
  7. The moderator reserves the right to remove participants who do not adhere to the rules stated above.
  8. This online chat is not intended to replace legal guidance between you and registered patent attorney or agent. Applicant is advised to secure the services of a registered patent attorney or agent to prosecute the patent application. The office cannot aid in selecting an attorney or agent, and cannot serve as one for the applicant as well.

When you click on the link to enter the chat you will be presented with a sign on screen.

Click the radio button for “Enter as a Guest” There is no special username. Simple type your preferred screen name as this name will appear when you post your questions. Then click “Enter Room” button.

After you click on “Enter Room” button you may be prompted to install the Adobe Connect Add-in. Click the install link in the dialog box.

A dialog will appear to confirm that you want to download and install this plug-in. Click the Yes button the dialog box. Your Adobe Connect meeting windows will close and restart to complete the installation.
