Thom Ruhe of the Kauffman Foundation, one of the speakers whose presentation will be web cast Annual Independent Inventors Conference Set for This Friday and Saturday On USPTO CampusRegistration Now Closed!General Sessions to be Web CastThe 2008 United States Patent and Trademark Office’s Independent Inventors Conference opens this Friday morning at the agency’s headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. This year, for the first time, those who cannot attend will be able to watch a web cast of the Friday and Saturday general sessions on the USPTO’s website, www.uspto.gov. Log on Friday morning at 8 a.m. and follow the instructions to access the live web cast. Those speaking at the general sessions include Commissioner for Patents John Doll, Thom Ruhe, Director of Entrepreneurship for the Kauffman Foundation, Julia Rhodes, a successful inventor and President of Kleen Slate Concepts and Louis Foreman creator and producer of the Emmy Award winning PBS series, Everyday Edisons.
