When filing a response to an office action in which the number of claims has changed, does EFS-Web allow me to account for fees already paid?
Presently the "Calculate Fees" screen in EFS-Web does not indicate which fees have already been paid for an application. The filer will need to refer to their records or the information provided in PAIR to determine what fees have already been paid. When paying for claims, the filer will only want to indicate the number of claims that have not been paid for. EFS-Web will then calculate the total fee due.
