How do I copy my PKI digital certificate to another computer?

  1. Go to the location where you stored your .epf file (if you used to be a USPTO Direct user it should be in the c:\program files\uspto) on the first PC and copy the .epf file that contains the profile name onto a floppy disk or other portable media/network drive.
  2. Take the disk to the second PC and go to the location of your choice on that PC.
  3. Paste the files from the disk in the chosen location on the second PC.

REMINDER: A Digital Certificate is only licensed for the applicant and one other user under the applicant's direct control.
