Public Records Division Updates

A user had a problem getting certified file histories on disc. Certification Section explained that because the file is so large, over 100, 000 pages, it cannot at this time be copied to disc. Sandra Bigsby, Acting Manager of PRD, responded that they are aware of the problem and are actively seeking a resolution to the problem with cooperation from the CIO's office.

Question: When requesting a copy of a file history on disc why must you get the entire file copied? Answer: That is the way the system is coded to handle this particular type of request at this time.

The Public User's Meeting was adjourned at 2:20 p.m. The next meeting is January 20, 2010, in the Remsen building conference center, room 1D04/1D14 at 2:00 p.m.
