This refers to the notice of proposed rule making published in the Federal
Register at Volume 64, No. 212 on Wednesday, November 3, 1999, page 59701.

Our law office, R. Kunstadt, P.C., regularly files trademark applications
and other documents requiring the payment of fees.  Ordinarily, these fees
are paid by check.

We consider that the PTO's proposal to permit the payment of fees by credit
card provides a valuable option to the public, and should be adopted.
