Re: Response to complaint of Gary Miano by Arizona Patent Services

Dear Commissioner:

This is in reference to Gary Miano’s complaint against Arizona Patent Services.  We are very saddened by Gary’s decision to complain about our services.  We understand the frustration of a client when their product is not licensed by a manufacturer.  However, every client, including Gary and his wife Michelle, were made aware verbally and through many written documents that attempting to take any product to market is a high risk venture and most products are not successful.

Gary’s contract was fulfilled, and he signed off acknowledging such on March 3, 2011.  We only had one other contact with Gray which was on July 20, 2011 letting us know that he had received something in written form from a manufacturer and wanted us to review it.  We did, he signed it and sent it back to the manufacturer.  Gary never voiced his concerns about a miscommunication to me regarding a prototype.  NEVER was a prototype mentioned, nor contracted for.  I only wish he could have communicated his concerns.  We do everything in our power to make every client happy.  The reality is, some are not going to be no matter the effort or quality of work.
