RAM Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Revenue Accounting and Management (RAM) System beginning at 12:01 a.m. and ending at 4 a.m., Saturday, December 5 ET.
RAM, all payment processing, and the Office of Finance On-Line Shopping site will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
All payments processing through the following USPTO systems will be unavailable during the maintenance period:
- Electronic Filing System (EFS-Web) and EFS-Web Contingency
- Electronic System for Trademark Trials and Appeals (ESTTA)
- Electronic Trademark Assignment System (ETAS)
- Order Entry Management System (OEMS)
- Office of Finance On-Line Shopping Site
- Revenue Accounting and Management (RAM)
- Patent Review Processing System (PRPS)
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)
- Trademark Electronic Application System international (TEASi)
For EFS-Web Applicants
EFS-Web applicants may use an alternative payment method, such as submitting a deposit account authorization or faxing in a credit card authorization to (571)273-8300. The following submissions, which require fee payment at time of submission, will be unavailable: Web85b, ePetitions, eTerminalDisclaimer, and PG-Pub requests.

If your deadline is during the maintenance period and the document requiring a fee payment cannot be field electronically, you must us an alternative method for filing. Please visit the TEAS Outage page for information concerning Trademark alternative filing methods.

TEAS Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) beginning at 6 a.m. and ending at 11:59 a.m., Saturday, December 5 ET.
TEAS will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
Because portable and e-signature forms allow 14 days for signature, it is important that you be aware of this scheduled outage so that you can plan ahead to avoid additional work. Users should file all recently created portable forms and e-signature forms by 5:59 a.m., Saturday, December 5 ET. Customers unable to do so will be required to start the process again with updated forms. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
TEAS and TEASi Maintenance
The USPTO will perform maintenance affecting Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) and Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi) beginning at 12:01 a.m. and ending at 8 a.m., Sunday, December 6 ET.
TEAS and TEASi will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
