New Patent Assignment Search Deployment
The USPTO has successfully deployed Assignment Search, a new patent assignment search system. Assignment Search is available at http://assignment.uspto.gov. The USPTO also has plans to incorporate trademark assignments search into the Assignment Search system in the near future.
In addition to launching the new system, as part of this deployment, the following changes have been made to Assignments on the Web (AOTW):
- The AOTW homepage is now redirecting users to www.uspto.gov/products, and will remain at this location until both patents and trademarks are fully included in the new Assignment Search system.
- The current link to the AOTW Patent Assignment Query is now redirecting users to the new patents assignment search system. The link can be found on the new tool’s homepage.
- At this time, users can still search for patent assignments through AOTW.
