ID Manual Search Feature Restored, TESS Search Problem, TEASi Error Message, and TSDR Image Issues
The Search feature of the ID Manual has been restored. However, the field selection "All fields" does not search the "Notes" field. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The problem is being addressed by staff at the USPTO.
Please note that there will not be any additional entries added to the ID Manual until May 2.
The Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS) is now operational with current data and images. Furthermore, the Image List feature which allows users to view multiple images at one time is now functioning properly.
All Trademark searches using TESS, conducted between 5 a.m. Saturday, April 20 and 5 a.m. Sunday, April 21, must be redone. Additionally, all Trademark searches using TESS, conducted between 3 a.m. Tuesday, April 23 and 5 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, must be redone.
Please contact the USPTO Service Desk at (571)272-9000 should you encounter any problems. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our payment system for customers using the Subsequent Designation form. Users of this form may receive an “Internal Failure” error message after submitting payment information. Although the financial portion of the transaction completed, a technical glitch prevented the subsequent designation form from updating with the payment information. The problem is being addressed by staff at the USPTO. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you received this error message, please e-mail Madrid Processing Unit at email@example.com immediately and include the following information:
Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) is currently experiencing a problem with the display of some mark images. The images themselves are unaffected and TESS is displaying them correctly. In addition, some PDF documents filed via TEAS, between April 29 and May 1, are not displaying properly in TSDR.
The USPTO is aware of these problems and they are being addressed by staff at the USPTO. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope to have these problems resolved soon and appreciate your patience.
