FAX Server and TEASi Maintenance

FAX Server Maintenance

USPTO will be upgrading its fax servers starting at 12:15 a.m., Saturday, October 12 and ending at 10 p.m., Sunday, October 13. Faxes will not be received or sent. Please see below for guidance concerning alternative filing methods:

Patents

Please use EFS-Web or Priority Mail Express (formerly Express Mail) from the United States Postal Service (USPS) in accordance with 37 CFR 1.10. Refer to the EFS-Web Legal Framework (http://www.uspto.gov/patents/process/file/efs/guidance/New_legal_framework.jsp) for additional information.

Trademarks

USPTO recommends using the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS). Please be advised that a deadline that falls on a Saturday, Sunday or federal holiday within the District of Columbia extends the due date to the next succeeding day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or federal holiday. 37 C.F.R. §2.196. TEASi Maintenance

The USPTO will perform maintenance on the Trademark Electronic Application Submission International (TEASi) beginning at 12:01 a.m. and ending at 5 a.m., Wednesday, October 16.
