Credit Card Processing Maintenance Outage

The USPTO website will not be able to accept credit card payments for TEAS and TEASi (Madrid Protocol) filings between the hours of 6 p.m. and midnight Eastern Standard Time on Saturday, September 15 due to a system upgrade by our 3rd party credit card processing service. Accordingly, customers who intend to make the required payments via credit card will not be able to submit their filings during this period. Customers with either a deposit account or an established EFT account with the USPTO will continue to be able to pay the required fees via such accounts.

In addition, customers will also be able to file forms that do not require a fee payment. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
