Pre-Grant Publication Classification Services
PREVIOUS NOTICES:
The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) seeks to award a contract for Pre-Grant Publication Classification Services on patent applications submitted for processing to the USPTO in Alexandria, Virginia. This requirement is consistent with the USPTO 's 21st Century Strategic Plan in order to reduce patent pendency and to concentrate more on the core functions of the examination and granting of patents. The Government will award a single contract that contains Fixed Price Requirements Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN), Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) CLINs, and one Firm Fixed Price CLIN. The period of performance for this requirement is anticipated to be for a base period of one year and four additional one-year option periods. The Successful Offeror under the RFP will also have the possibility of earning up to a total of five, one-year award term periods. This requirement is anticipated to be full and open competition under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 541519. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.219-09 Small Business Subcontracting Plan (January 2002) is included in the RFP. Interested parties are responsible for checking this website regularly for release of other procurement-related documents. Since all procurement-related documents will be released via the Internet, a mailing list and list of interested vendors will not be available.
In accordance with paragraph L.5 of the RFP, the pre-proposal conference for this requirement will be held at USPTO Headquarters on from 9:00 to 11:00 AM in the Jefferson Building Conference Center (rooms 1D70 and 1D80). Please follow the directions in paragraph L.5 of the RFP to register for the conference.
