• Comparative Study on Intellectual Property Management in Standard-Setting Organizations and in Government Mandated or Approved Standards - cooperative agreement, award amount $386,675.00

Kenan Foundation Asia

• Update the Kenan Institute Asia-EPO Comparative Assessment Study of Patent Offices in Southeast Asia - cooperative agreement, award amount $75,792.00

University of California, Berkeley

• The Implications of Patent Application Growth in China on the USPTO - cooperative agreement, award amount $371,478.00

Light Years IP

• Implement a comprehensive education program in Ethiopia and Uganda - cooperative agreement, award amount $1,261,463.00

California Western School of Law

• Roundtable Program and Study on the Use of Alternative Dispute Resolution in IPR Litigation - cooperative agreement, award amount $106,125.00

Widener University

• Joint Project on the Connection Between Counterfeit Hard Good and Public Health and Safety - joint project, award amount $115,630.00

National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) 

• Conference and Journal Publication on IP Standards – Cooperative Agreement, award amount $122,000.00

 The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is seeking proposals in response to request for proposal (RFP) DOC52PAPT1000017 from non-profit organizations interested in performing policy studies, conferences, and other development programs in support of fair international protection of intellectual property rights. The USPTO intends to issue joint project agreements to conduct these programs. Reference the subject RFP for details. The RFP is also posted on FedBizOpps, the Government’s Point-of-Entry.
