|Responses Due: October 8, 2010, 5:00 PM EST|
This Request for Information (RFI) No. DOCSSPAPT10-00003 is for market research purposes only and is not a solicitation for proposals. Accordingly, no contract will be awarded from this announcement. TELEPHONE CALLS OR EMAILS REQUESTING A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR ACKNOWLEDGED.
The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is interested in commercially available administrative password management products to find a solution that will make password management simpler solely for System Administrator Accounts and enterprise Application Accounts.
The USPTO is seeking input/comments from interested parties who can provide vendor site presentations (or web-based presentations where a site visit would cause undue hardship) and/or provide no-cost trial software/hardware, virtual machine images, and/or hosted solutions with multiple user accounts to perform password management administration scenarios and research solution features as well as provide input/comments and GSA product contract numbers. USPTO will contact selected vendors to schedule vendor site presentations.
All details and documents of this proposed requirement, including any updates/amendments, will be posted on USPTO’s Office of Procurement website. (See Attachment A: Proposed Statement of Requirements [.doc] and Attachment B: Table 1 - Proposed Requirements [.doc]).
Responses to this RFI shall be conducted at no cost to the Government, and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Responses to this RFI are voluntary and their source shall be treated as confidential. Responses are solely for the USPTO’s use in developing project documentation.
