The Office of Patent Examination Support Services (OPESS) supports the patent examination process through analysis, technical, administrative and clerical work and services. Daily, we support the patent examination process through the processing of newly filed applications, incoming and outgoing correspondence, allowed applications, PCTs, Re-Examination and Reissue applications.
Our mission is to provide practical patent examination support by delivering a high quality work product and efficient customer service. We strive to create a seamless interaction with our customers from start to finish by providing the best possible solution to unnecessary delays in processing patent applications.
